The Grove first team finished their season off on a low with a defeat in the quarter final of the County Cup to Trent Bridge 2. The points in the 3-2 defeat were gained by Richard Speed and Paul Allen who was stepping in due to injuries. The first team finished third after a successful season in Division 2.

In the last league match of the season, The Grove First Team came out winners against David Lloyd West Bridgeford 1 by a 3-2 margin. The points were secured by Dean Drury, Richard Speed and Tim Hall. The win leaves the First Team fourth at the end of season – but depending on others they could end up finishing third.
The Grove Second Team went up from Division 4 as champions after beating Trent Bridge 5 in their last game of the season 4-1. The points in the crucial win were gained by Paul Allen, Paul Burrell, Brian Watson and Ashley Brooks. The second team can now look forward to next season knowing promotion is secured.
The Grove Third Team had their relegation from Division four confirmed with their latest defeat to Trent Vale 1. The only points in the 5-0 defeat were gained by Vic Armond. The third team will look for a better season next time out.
The Club Championship took place last weekend with Club number one Chris Gibbons retaining his title against Adrian Gibson. It was a brave performance from Adrian who is battling back from injury but it was all in vain as Chris took the crown.
Paul Bailey took the plate in an all third team final against Vic Armond.

The Grove first team's chances of promotion look to have faded with a dissapointing 4-1 defeat to Nottingham 3. With key players missing, they field a weakened side and captain Chris Gibbons was the only player to gain a point.
The Grove third team gained some usueful points in their fight from relegation. The third team were unlucky not to gain more points in the 3-2 defeat again Rushcliffe 3. The points were gained by Robert Sutton and Vic Armond.

The Grove first team’s chances of promotion from Division 2 look to have faded as they lost out to fellow promotion chasers Nottingham University Students 2 in a crunch tie. The only point in the 4-1 defeat was gained by Richard Speed.
The Grove second team met the Grove third team in Division 4 in a must win game for both teams; with the Seconds pushing for promotion, and the Thirds fighting against relegation. The Grove seconds came out on top in the contest, which pushed them closer to the Division 4 title and pushed the Grove third team on the verge of the drop from the league. The result ended up as a 5-0 margin in favour of the seconds with the points with being gained Ashley Brooks, Barry Saye, Brian Watson, Paul Burrell and Paul Allen. Individual points for the third team were gained by Walt Cregg and Paul Bailey.

The Grove second team overcame Chilwell 3 to secure a place in the semi-final of the Notts County Cup. The points in the 3-2 victory were gained by Paul Burrell, Ashley Brooks and Barry Saye. The will face Rushcliffe 2 in the next round who are also promotional rivals for Grove 2.
The Grove third team lost out to title contenders Rushcliffe 2 in Division 4 by a margin of 5 games to 0. The individual points were gained by Robert Sutton and Paul Bailey.

The Grove first have had a mixed couple of results, firstly suffering a setback in their hope for promotion from Division 2 with a disappointing defeat to bottom of the league Nottingham 2. With important players missing due to injury, it was left to Chris Gibbons and Paul Drury to gain some points in the 3-2 defeat. They then made up for the defeat by gaining some crucial points with a 4-1 victory over David Lloyd Aspley 2. The points were gained by Chris Gibbons, Richard Speed, Ashley Brooks and Barry Saye.
The Grove second team also had a mixed couple results as they continue to push for promotion from Division 4, firstly with a defeat to Trent Vale 1. The points in the 3-2 defeat were gained by Brian Watson and Ashley Brooks. They put the disappointing result behind them to overcome Whittaker Nomads 4. The points in the 3-2 victory came from Paul Allen, Paul Burrell and Barry Saye.

The Grove first team gained more crucial points in the promotion push in Division 2 with two victories. Their first victory came against Trent Bridge 2 with a 3-2 win. The points were gained by Bob Warren, Richard Speed and Adrian Gibson who came from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Their second victory came against Southwell 1 which was also another close 3-2 victory in the favour of Grove 1. The points were gained by Bob Warren, Tim Hall and Chris Gibbons.
The Grove first team are also though to the next round of the County Cup after easing by Trent Bridge 4 with a margin of 5-0 with the points being gained by Dean Drury, Richard Speed, Tim Hall, Bob Warren and Chris Gibbons.
The Grove second team continue to hunt down the leaders at the top of Division 4 with their latest victory coming against Rushcliffe 3 with a 4-1 win. The points were gained by Paul Allen, Paul Burrell, Ashley Brooks and Barry Saye.
The Grove 3rd team continue to struggle in Division 4 with their latest defeat coming against Relegation rivals University Staff 2 in a 4-1 deficit. The only point was gained by Vic Armond who is starting to find form after coming back from injury.

The Grove first team finished the first half of the season on a high with a thumping 5-0 win of Southwell 1. The points in the win were gained by Chris Gibbons, Tim Hall, Dean Drury, Paul Allen and Richard Speed. The result leaves them second at the Christmas break with crucial games to come in the New Year.
In Division 4 the second team find themselves top at the half way stage and have promotion in their sights On the other hand the Grove 3rd team lost crucial points in their relegation battle. Their latest defeat came against Whittaker Nomads 4 in a 4-1 defeat. The only point was gained by Paul Bailey. They hope for a change in fortune in the New Year with the return of a couple of key players from injury.

The Grove first team lost ground on leaders Rustons in Division 2 after losing 4-1 to David Lloyd West Bridgeford 1 with a weakened side. The only point in the loss was gained by Richard Speed.
The Grove second team gained more useful points in their promotion push in division 4 with a 5-0 win over Trent Bridge 5. The points were gained by Paul Allen, Paul Burrell, Brian Watson, Adrian Gibson and Barry Saye.
The Grove third team suffered another loss in their relegation battle in Division 4, with their latest 5-0 defeat coming from a very strong Trent Vale 1. The only individual point was gained by Craig Drury.

The Grove first team suffered their second loss of the season with a 5-0 win against a strong Nottingham University Students 2. Individual points were gained by Paul Allen and Tim Hall who was playing at number one.
The Grove second team continued their good form in Notts Division 4 with a 4-1 win over Rushcliffe 2. The points in the win were gained by Paul Allen, Adrian Gibson, Paul Burrell and Paul Drury.
The Grove 3rd team continue to struggle in Notts Division 4. Their latest defeat came at the hands of Trent Bridge 5 with the points in the 4-1 defeat being gained by Robert Sutton.

The Grove 1st team gained more crucial points in their promotion push in Division 2. Their latest 3-2 victory came against Nottingham 3 with the points being gained by Dean Drury, Tim Hall and Paul Allen who was promoted a team due to injuries.
The Grove 3rd team continue to struggle in Division 4. Their latest defeat came against Rushcliffe 3 when they were on the receiving end of a 4-1 score line. The only point was gained by number one Robert Sutton.
