Grove Squash Club is a well run, committed and ambitious Bronze Charter Club. We aim to be not only an excellent squash club but also a social and friendly place for people to play the sport they love.

If you already play squash but are not in a club then come along and reap the benefits of playing in our internal ladders, club competitions, enrol for training. You can even come to one of our club nights to get a flavour of it for yourself!  So if you play or are thinking about taking the game, up come along on club night and give it a go.

2011 AGM

This year's AGM will be held at RHP Club, Elm avenue on 18th May at 7:30. Please make every effort to attend and support your club and committee. This is

our chance to have your say on any matters regarding your Club.

 

2011 CLOSED COMPETITION

This competition was won once again by number 1 seed Chris Gibbons who beat fellow first teamer Bob Warren 3-0 in the final. The plate was won by Ashley Brooks who beat Paul Bailey 3-1 in an entertaining plate final. More details can be found under the closed link.

Presentation Evening

The club’s annual presentation evening was held at Newark Town Club on the 8th October. Trophies were presented to all the competition winners and photo’s from the evening can be found in the picture section

 

Chris Gibbons Regains Club Championship

Chris Gibbons beat Bob Warren 3-0 in the Closed Final and Barry Saye defeated Robert Sutton in the Plate Final. For a more information and pictures click on to the closed link on the left.

 

AGM The 2010

AGM will be held at RHP Club in Newark on 20th May at 7:00 pm. Please make every effort to attend and have your say on how your club is run and what changes you would like to see

 

4th Team Get through to County Cup final

The mens 4th team have got through to the Final of their County Cup after a thrilling victory against Trent Bridge. Andrew Appleby’s victory against an opponent who had beaten him twice already this season ensured the will be playing against the University Staff at the Park on 8th May. They could be joined by the 2nd team who play the semi-final of their cup next week. All supporters are welcome and more details can be obtained from Paul Drury.
